Our troop headed to Camp Lakamaga for an overnight camp. We had 2 great days filled with crafts, hiking, swimming, working on try-its, campfire building, pillow fight, scavenger hunt, and a little bit of sleep. Once we got all of the girls settled down and ready for bed, a bat swooped over our heads. The girls were very brave and snuggled back up in their sleeping bags (some were 2 to a sleeping bags to stay safe) and went to sleep.
We stayed in the Activity Center (so did a bat)
It was a very cold day, but the girls insisted in going swimming. Most of the girls lasted 15 minutes.
We had chili dinner in the dining hall with all of the campers. The girls loved having the opprotunity to serve the food to the tables.
Our troop with the camp director, Willow. Willow played games with us, went on a scavenger hunt with us, taught us how to tie knots, sang songs, and how to build a campfire.
We decorated pillowcases for our overnight. (thanks for the idea Stacy)
