We spent 9 days creating memories to last a lifetime in Disney World with my parents and Paul and Paula, Ben and Sara, and Andy, Jen, and the boys.
Alligator Bayou became home for the week. We enjoyed many walks along the Sassagoula River, especially the big steamship wheel.
We shared many magical moments at the Magic Kingdom.
Everyone loves a parade, especially with Mickey.
The girls love to be pirates, just like in the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Who can resist a ride with Dumbo?
We enjoyed the adventures that Tom Sawyers Island had for us.
Our family enjoyed a race around the racetrack.
All four of us agree that Space Mountain is the best ride at Magic Kingdom.
The rain didn't stop us from enjoying all that Hollywood Studios has to offer.
The girls have become quite the trill seekers. Tower of Terror is their favorite ride.
Rock N Rollercoaster was another favorite of Kayla, Dad, and mine.
Watching the Indiana Jones show and Lights Camera Action were exciting. Special effects are amazing. Wow, what a show.
The ride we couldn't get enough of was Toy Story. If you like The Buzzlight Year ride at Magic Kingdom, you will love the Toy Story ride. We loved to complete to see who could get the highest score.
Epcot took us on adventures around the World. The kids went on a Kim Possible Mission in China to save the monkey.
We sampled many different cultures while in Epcot-Kayla tried eating with chop sticks, the girls tried on sambaros, played African drums with Papa, and dressed like vikings.
It was so difficult to choose which ride is our favorite-Soarin, Test Track, or Mission Space.
Animal Kingdom's Kilimanjaro's Safari allowed us to see many animals up-close.
Due to being soaked from the rain, we decide to give a new (new to us) ride a try, Kali River Rapids. We couldn't get any wetter, Right???
The kids loved being the lions in the Lion King show.
Our trip ended prefectly, with a last ride in the front car of Expedition Everest. The all time favorite ride.
What a group of characters!!!
We stop occassionally to enjoy a bite to eat.
Hoop-Dee-Doo was a dinner show filled with Wild West dancing, singing, and zany vaudeville comedy. Brandon became an important part of the show, when Flora Long fell in love with him. I think the girls were a bit nervous that Flora was going to steal him away from us. After the show Kayla says to me "Mommy, I think she REALLY loves daddy."
We started the day at Animal Kingdom with Donald and Mickey at the Tusker house enjoying a delicous breakfast. The kids loved shaking the African Instruments while dancing around the restuarant.
Our last morning, was spent dining with Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, and Ariel in Cinderella's Castle. Did you know if you make a wish in Cinderella's Castle it will come true?
We decided to leave Disney for a day and head to Sea World. I am amazed at the shows that Sea World puts on. The Shamu show, Believe, is incrediable. When you leave the show, you BELIEVE that you can do anything.
The dolphin show is breathtaking with acrobatic dolphins, soaring birds, and amazing stunt actors. I left the show wishing I could swim with the dolphins. Unfortunely, we didn't swim with the dolphins, but we did get to feed the dolphins. What an unforgetable experience. We would hold the fish up for the dolphin and they would swim right to you and take the fish out of your hand. If you timed it just right, you could pet the dolphin at the same time. This was my favorite memory.
You can't go to Florida without going to the beach, right? We visited Cocoa Beach, even though it was too cold and windy to swim. Kayla tried jumping over the waves, but that only lasted 10 minutes since her toes were numb. Ashley enjoyed making a sand castle. And we all enjoyed a long walk along the beach looking for shells.
