the summer has come to an end

I am so sad to see summer come to an end. When I look back I am amazing at all of the experiences we have had as a family.

Our family's summer adventures included:

The Twins game in the new stadium

Spending 5 days in Chicago

Hanging out at the zoos with the animals and friends and family

Ashley's favorite Dog Sitting

So many water activities-swimming in our pool, riding the waves at Bunker Beach, and swimming at the beach.

Spending 13 hours at the MN State Fair

Going to the many butterfly gardens

Riding the alpine slides and waterslide and racing the go-carts at Wild Mountain

Kayla attending Safety Camp and loved it. What a great experience!!!

Golfing, Golfing, and more Golfing

Geocaching Hunting at State Parks

Enjoyed the best days of summer with th Aquatennial

Going to the camper with Nana and Papa and hanging out with "the boys" (Jen, Andy, Ben, Sara, Paul, and Paula too)

Even though, I am sad to say good-bye to summer, I am excited for the adventures of fall to come. I can't wait to start teaching K + (all day, everyday kindergarten), Ashley is excited to go to 1st grade so she can go to school like Kayla (everyday), and Kayla is ready for the 4th grade rotation to begin. She will be having 3 teachers for different subjects. Brandon is looking forward to quiet time at home when everyone is in school on his off days. I wonder where our fall adventures will take us????
