family, friends, food, fun on the fourth of July

We enjoyed another fun-filled 4th of July at the Lake again.  This year the trip was a bit shorter than in the past, but we still had a great time.   

We enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.

The festivities began with the annual bike parade.  The kids decorated their bike and their bodies in 4th of July fashion.

This is the first time that we have taken a picture of all of the kids and grand kids in the resort. 

In the afternoon, we were able to catch some rays during the boat parade. 

Of Course, we found time to go tubing.

Even Daddy and Andy went this time.

Thanks to Paul and Paula, the pontoon provide hours of entertainment.

Ashley found a little bit of time to build a sand castle.

Baxter even got to go out in the boat for a boat ride.

Our fun ended with sparklers, before heading home for the fireworks.
