Kayla began her summer attending Animals is Art at Summer Academy. She was excited to combined 2 of her favorite things animals and art and couldn't wait to see the results. Although, the class wasn't everything she was hoping it would be she made some creative art projects.

Draft drawings of a horse and a dog. When doing a draft drawing you divide the paper into small squares and also the picture that you are copying and copy the pictures 1 square at a time. I am so impressed with Kayla's artistic ability.
Kayla took this picture of the alligator at the MN Zoo. She then drew the picture in another draft drawing. Great picture!
Kayla was so excited to invite Baxter to come to
Summer Academy to have his picture taken a the Pet Portrait Studio. Baxter loved all of the attention from the kids taking his picture. He even smiled for a couple of pictures. (top right picture)
