We love soccer

What a great season both girls had. Ashley's highlight is having scored 6 goals in one game. We love to watch her as she takes the ball down the field with a great big smile on her face the whole time. Kayla's favorite game was on her birthday when she scored the first goal of the game in about 20 seconds. She took off with the ball at the kick off and headed right to the goal. She was determined to score 8 goals since she was 8 years old. She fell short on this big goal, but she scored 2 more goals and had 1 assist. She is an awesome goalie, but makes mom and dad nervous because she stands so fair out of the goal. There is nothing better than spending a nice fall afternoon on the soccer field. We have even learned to like watching soccer in the rain. The girls love to play in the rain. (Soccer is only cancelled if their is lightning, so we have spent many games in the rain.)
