Being tired of this weather, we decided escape the winter cold and head to the 88 degrees of fun at the Edge in Duluth. Yes, that is inside the water park, not outside. The best part of the trip was that it was a surprise to the girls. We picked Kayla up at school and told her we needed to do something. For a short, while they thought that we were running errands. Once the suitcases were discovers, the guessing began. For awhile they thought that we were going up north (to the camper), then they discovered that we were in Duluth. As we drove by the Edge they go very excited (as you may know you need to drive by it and then back to enter) and then disappointed when they couldn't see it any more. At the light the girls began shouting "turn, turn, turn" and when Brandon did you could hear them cheering outside the car. Needless to say they were a bit excited!

Ashley's favorite activity was climbing across the rope ladder.
Kayla loved the 4 1/2 story waterslide.
I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub even if it was only for a minute or 2.
Brandon enjoyed shooting hoops in the pool (and throwing balls at me).
We all loved the 300 gallons of water that the bucket dumped every few minutes.
We tried to relax on the lazy river.
After we enjoyed the warm weather for a while, we headed back out into the cold.
Frozen Lake Superior
Nothing stops us from skipping rocks-not even a frozen lake.
