Swimming Lessons

The girls attended a 2 week swim camp at FOSS Swim School to begin the summer. The loved every moment of it and wanted to continue. I was amazing to watch them go from being uncoordinated and splashing while swimming to smooth, coordinated, and graceful swimmers. Kayla learned the frontcrawl with rhythmic breathing, the backstroke, the breaststroke, and she also began to work on the butterfly and dolphin.

There is always time for some fun at FOSS. Coach Brian always ended each lesson with some kid of fun activity.

Don't fall off, Kayla.

Ashley went from doing the doggy paddle to smoothly doing a frontcrawl or backcrawl across the pool. She worked on Frank (left arm) and Murray (right arm) or in other words she used big arm swings as she did the front crawl with alternating arms. The backstroke was another skill that she developed over the 2 week camp.

Coach Ryan always made sure the kids went home with a smile. Make sure you don't fall off, Ashley!
