For the last 1 1/2 years, I have wanted to run a race. Well, I finally did it. Julie and I raced 5 miles along the beautiful trails of Pine Tree Apple Orchard through the apple orchard, strawberry fields, and pumpkin patch. I placed 147/181 for my age group with an overall time of 101.50 minutes. Not my best time, thanks to all of those hills. Hopefully, next years time will be better.
Kayla and Ashley also did an awesome job running the 1/2 mile. Kayla was in the top 10 and Ashley was in the top 30. Way to go girls!!! Maybe next year you can go for 5 miles with Auntie Julie and me.
