Our favorite season

We love the fall, especially this fall when the weather has been so warm and wonderful. Thanks to the weather, we have been able to go on a few new fall outings this year. The girls and I went to Pine Tree Apple Orchard. What a breath-taking view of the countryside from the wagon ride and we tasted some yummy apple treats. The girls lead me through a corn maze (we only got lost a few times). I didn't realize that the girls would become corn maze crazy. This has become there favorite fall adventure.

So the next couple of weekends, lead us to the corn maze at Severs and the Shafer Corn Maze. This was our first trip to Severs Corn Maze. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety of activities, the corn maze (shaped like our favorite team the MN Vikings), the hay bales to run on, the pig races, the magic show, and every ones favorite, the corn pit. It was great fun to dive into 10,000 bushels of corn.

After picking our pumpkins at Lendt's Pumpkin Patch, we headed to Shafer Corn Maze not knowing what to expect at a corn maze in the dark. Thankfully, we had a flashlight to help us guide the path. It was no problem find the designated locations within the maze. The problem was how to get out of the corn maze (it was pretty challenging with all of the long twisty paths).

We have also been able to go the Aboretum for the first time. It is beautiful this time of year. Thanks to the nice weather, the girls had the chance to go geocaching one more time before the chill sets in. What a fabulous fall.
