the many sights of chicago (in one day)

Our day started at the Shedd Aquarium. We saw fish and a few other animals from all over the world. We loved the 4D show and FantaSea show.

The girls were so excited that they got to pet a penguin in the middle of the show and were on the big screen at the same time. The show was amazing. We saw a red tail hawk, penguins, dolphins, and Kayla's favorite, the beluga whale.

Our adventure lead us to The Adler Planetarium where we took a journey into the stars.

Brandon looked down the 20 foot telescope.

Ashley tried out the astronauts toilet.

Kayla tried the astronauts bed.

Kayla and Ashley had so much fun that they decided to sign up to become future astronauts.

We decided to head to Millennium Park to enjoy the outdoor splendors of Chicago.

The first place we headed in Millennium Park was the Bean. Can you find us in this picture?

The girls loved looking at themselves in the bean. I was able to take some cool pictures of the girls being silly.

We spent some time splashing around the fountain in the park.

To end the day, we headed up 103 floors in the Willis Tower (formerly The Sears Tower).

a view from the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower

We all dared to step out on the glass ledge 103 floors up in the air of the 3rd tallest building in the world. What an unforgettable experience.

What a busy, fun, and amazing adventure we had in Chicago today.
